The CRUSH Festival is South Australia’s first major wine and food event for the year and is a great way to kick off the year with friends and family. The festival will be held across various picturesque locations in the celebrated Adelaide Hills Wine Region, from January 22-24.

Adelaide Hills Wine Region Executive Officer Fiona LeSage: “The Hills will be alive with an array of events showcasing the region’s renowned cool-climate wines and of course the wonderful cellar doors, food and people of the region.

“We welcome you to the hills for a sensory summer weekend, filled with stylish wines, regional produce and beautiful scenery”
 Over 20 wineries are hosting experiences that will have festival go’ers chilling in the hills; featuring live music, local produce and an abundance of cool wines.

Mrs LeSage said: “There will be events ranging from garden parties and twilight dinners to relaxed acoustic music sessions, DJ’s and dumplings… there is something for every taste.’ Continuing she stated, ‘CRUSH is such a fun, festive weekend and the producers and cellar doors of the region have gone to great lengths to ensure a relaxed, celebratory vibe with an exciting array of events in this year’s line-up, all curated with social distancing and government guidelines in mind.

“The weekend will kick off on Friday January 22nd, with the ‘Shaw + Smith Long Table Dinner’ with a delicious menu from Duncan Welgemoed and the talented team from Africola. Or head over to Anderson Hill for the ‘In the Eye of the Beholder’ event featuring their “O” Series range of wines, including the Decanter best in show award winning Shiraz along with a delightful menu prepared by Matthew Plant.”

Slow it down and find a relaxed summer vibe with live tunes and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the gardens at Golding Wines or perhaps you would prefer to join the Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard team for a venture into the vineyard and traverse some of the Adelaide Hills most picturesque and coveted estate blocks, all from the rugged comfort of an all-terrain vehicle. Soak in the amazing views whilst sampling back vintages & canapes safari style in parts of the vineyard not normally accessed.

Pike and Joyce welcomes you to ‘Reunite @ Pike and Joyce’. This one's for all the missed catch ups, birthdays and celebrations. Catch up with your nearest and dearest over a long lunch with a menu designed to share. A new addition to this year’s festivities includes the ‘Share - Zero Waste, Sustainable Lunch’ at Murdoch Hill, serving up a sustainable restaurant quality lunch with rescued food with Very Good Deejays and special guests playing music all day long.

From there the options are endless – Howard Vineyard will be hosting their much anticipated ‘2nd International Dumplings and Rosé Festival’, Jericho Wines ‘Garden Party’ at the Uraidla Hotel, ‘Prawns on the Lawn’ at Karrawatta, ‘Sun, Sizzle and Sorbet’ at Cobbs Hill Estate or the ‘Block Bash’ at Barristers Block – and so many more events included in the festivities across the weekend.

Crush Festival will be held from Friday, January 22 to Sunday, January 24 with events during both the day and evening.

Please note that bookings are essential for many of these events to manage COVID numbers. Make sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
