Wine Description
This wine is a blend of three classic varieties; Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. Each variety that went into this blend was fermented separately before being transferred into a combination of quality French and American oak barrels. Here, it was allowed to mature and develop in flavour prior to the final blend.
Ripe & juicy, lovely upfront characters of dark berries & aniseed, with just a hint of savoury, earthy spice.

Winemaker's Bio
Hamish Maguire is Shottesbrooke’s General Manager and Head Winemaker, and it is his mission is to build upon the legacy of his stepfather, Shottesbrooke founder, Nick Holmes.
After much experience gained travelling the world and studying the art of winemaking, Hamish’s passion continually drives Shottesbrooke’s expansion & evolution, whilst maintaining the high quality of wines for which it is known. As a result, Shottesbrooke is regularly recognised by various leading, and well respected global wine commentators, and has also been awarded an array of medals and trophies across both nationally and internationally accredited wine shows and competitions.
