Wine Description
This textural blend of Pinot bianco, Friulano, Malvasia d’Istria & Picolit pays homage to the family's winemaking heritage in north-eastern Italy & is named in honour of winemaker Mario Marson's mother, Grazia. Grown in the alluvial soils & cool climate of the Alpine Valleys in Victoria's north-east, the Grazia epitomises the suitability of Italian varieties in Australia. Coupled with the deft hand of the Marson family's winemaking, it produces a multilayered, barrel fermented blend replete with nutty savouriness & citrus notes, that enjoys bottle ageing appropriate for the style prior to release.

Winemaker's Bio
With a 42-year career in the Yarra Valley & Heathcote, Mario Marson is one of Australia’s most experienced winemakers. For 17 years Mario was winemaker & viticulturalist at the renowned Mount Mary, working alongside the late Dr John Middleton. A formative experience, these years gave Mario a valuable understanding of the technical & creative skills required to produce premium, multiclonal wine. The other half of this dynamic father/daughter winemaking duo, Assistant winemaker Madeleine Marson is an emerging vigneron with a strong pedigree in research & holistic approach to winemaking & viticulture. Together they craft Italian varietals with personality & charm.
