Wine Description
The bringing together of two of Clare Valley’s classic red varieties is a signature statement from the region, respected historically and
forever a contemporary pleasure. From our estate Bass Hill vineyard near Auburn, this 51:49 blend highlights how such an alliance brings out the best in both players, the opulence of the Shiraz accepting gracefully Mataro’s characteristic dark spice notes, wrapped in delicately cast 20% new French oak. The result
is a red wine with naturally pleasing harmony.
