Owing to our culture of innovation and independence in Australia there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio. One thing is for sure though: the results are always amazing.

The variety grows in premium regions around Australia, from the coolest sites to the warmer regions. The vinification of Pinot Gris often   involves barrel fermentation, whereas Pinot Grigio is typically a cold-ferment in stainless steel.

With International Pinot Grigio Day is one the horizon later this month – on 17 May to be exact – there’s never been a better time to get your hands on some lively and food-friendly Australian Pinot Grigio/Gris.
