Wine Description
A contemporary expression of Coonawarra Cabernet. Dark and fragrant aromas draw you in. Blood plum, blackcurrant and anise.
The palate is medium bodied, driven by a savoury tannin structure giving the wine great line and length. Complex, thought provoking Cabernet. Flavours of cassis, layered with dark chocolate and a dusting of toasty French oak. Great persistence and depth of flavour with a vibrancy of fruit giving the wine energy and lift.
Drink with: Slow roasted lamb shoulder, porcini risotto, kangaroo tail stew.

Passion. Spontaneity. Soul. Just a few words that come to mind when we get ready to introduce our winemaker, Kate Goodman.
Kate is one of Australia's best contemporary winemakers. Wineries such as Wirra Wirra ( McLaren Vale), Tim Kanppstein (Clare Valley), Seppelt (Great Western), Punt Road (Yarra Valley) have all benefited from Kate's brilliance. There is no denial of talent and absolute harmony when it comes to Kate and the winery which we have witnessed each year since she started in 2016.
Her investment in us is what has fed their evolution into creating some spectacular contemporary varietals.
And with the addition of winemaker, Lauren Hansen, it's as though they have taken an almighty breath of fresh Coonawarra air and are totally inspired.
