Wine Description
Deep purple in colour, this wine exhibits complex aromas of violets, blackcurrants, and plums. The palate is rewarded with pronounced black cherries, mulberries, and a hint of star anise. A complex wine that is well rounded and finishes with silky, lingering tannins.
Winemaker's Bio
Born into a respected winemaking family, growing up in the Eden Valley, Angus developed a deep love of viticulture from an early age. Spending time in the presence of industry luminaries such as Peter Lehmann, Wolf Blass, Jim Irvine, and John Glaetzer, picking fruit and stomping on grapes as a child.
Angus created his first vintage in 2009 in the Barossa Valley. Winemaking has always been a big part of him, with Angus deciding to spend his life creating authentic wines that truly represented their respective regions.
