Good winter rains and a warm spring resulted in a fantastic
start to vintage. A series of very warm weather events put pressure on the early growing
season, but the well managed vineyards made it through. A vintage of two halves; the first
half of heat waves put pressure on winemakers and viticulturists alike, the second half
allowed fruit to be picked at the optimum flavor ripeness
