Wine Description
Deep red in colour. Biscuit and spice aromas open slowly into blackberry and dark plums with hints of mint and eucalyptus. Fine, textural tannins flow through the palate. The fruit is tightly bound, gradually revealing itself. The finish is long and persistent. The balance and youthfulness of the wine suggests a long future ahead.
Fruit for this wine comes from our Br Dan block. Planted in 1973, this block features soils of sandy loam over brown clay on rock and is sheltered by a grove of native bush. These low yielding vines produce our most concentrated and unique expression of Shiraz.
