Langhorne Creek is home to some of the world's oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Some of these un-grafted gems make a contribution to our Directors' Cut. The power and intensity of the fruit is in perfect balance with the structure of the grapes themselves and the finely grained, lightly toasted French oak hogsheads in which it matures. Look for classic Cabernet character and layered fruit, depth and enduring intensity.
Winemaker's Bio
Ben Glaetzer gained access to the premium Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards of Langhorne Creek in time for the 2012 vintage. Over 20 years of experience working with Cabernet has allowed him to craft a red of the highest quality. Langhorne Cabernet is traditionally more expressive than other regions in its youth but retains the potential for long term ageing and complexity. Ben's notoriety has allowed us to bring this wine to a wider audience where its quality and worth can be fully appreciated.
