Ripe blackberry and fruitcake aromas lead to a plump and fleshy palate of ripe plum and dark berry characters. Subtle oak imparts delicate spice and additional complexity, leading to a soft velvety finish.

varietal expression. This is achieved across vintages by blending and crafting
wines from fruit sourced from different regions within Victoria.
Winemaker's Bio
Toni Pla Bou has worked in the wine industry for twenty five years, working for Houghton Wines, Coldstream Hills, Evans & Tate, Berton Vineyards and as a flying winemaker in Corsica, Roussillon, Gaillac and Corbière with Jean Marc Lafage. Studies in Philosophy and French have informed his understanding of wine, in relation to style, aesthetic and cultural value. Having a Catalonian heritage, Toni has always been passionate about wines from either side of the Pyrenean border: Grenache, Tempranillo, Grenache Blanc, Macabeo and more. Through his winemaking, Toni is inspired by the topographical and climatic affinities between the Alpine Valleys and the European Pyrenees.
