Wine Description
Sourced from three distinctive and carefully selected sites across the Clare Valley, this GSM is a true representation of terroir. The Grenache comes from 60-year-old vines in Watervale, the Shiraz is drawn from our Atlas White Hut Vineyard, and the Mataro is from mature vines in the northern Clare Valley. Ruby red with purple hues. The nose has lifted cherry, raspberry and cassis aromas with hints of white pepper and earth. The palate is mid weight but quite concentrated with flavours of satsuma plum, blackberry and red currant with hints of sweet spice and rose petals. Tannins are soft but structural, balancing with the berry fruit and delicate acidity, resulting in a complex and long finish.
