This wine is a field blend from a single vineyard, with vines established in 1968 in central Pokolbin onto sandy alluvial soils. The Syrah, Touriga and Viognier are handpicked together and co-fermented 100% whole bunch, before maturation for 12 months in 500L French oak puncheons.

Alisdair Tulloch is a fifth-generation viticulturist and winemaker based in the Hunter Valley, NSW. His professional background includes extensive international experience, having worked across premier French regions including Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, and the Loire Valley.
