Heirloom Vineyards
Winery Overview
Heirloom Vineyards was conceived in vintage 2000, when a young winemaking student Elena Golakova, caught the eye of a silly old wine judge, Zar Brooks.
A love story ensued inspired by two vows: To preserve the best of tradition, the old world of wine and their unique old vineyards and to champion the best clones of each variety planted in the most appropriate sites embracing the principals of sustainable farming.
Winemakers Elena Brooks from Bulgaria and Rosie Signer from Washington US, bring vast experience from Europe and US. Together they work on vineyard and variety combinations to create the best styles from wine regions within South Australia.
With minimal intervention, a focus on alternative varieties, great passion and expertise, we want our wines to show provenance, purity of fruit and complement any dining occasion.
