Kirrihill is a boutique winery cultivating fine wines, of outstanding quality and internationally recognised distinction. Founded in 1998, Kirrihill specialises in Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and other red wine varietals that capture the terroir of South Australia’s Clare Valley.
Their highly prized Schobers Vineyard is one of the most distinguished red wine producing vineyards in Australia. Sitting atop the “Golden Mile”, a rare strip of terra rossa soil and contour planted on rolling hills at the southern tip of Clare Valley, Schobers Vineyard has consistently produced wines of great complexity, which are rich in concentration with distinctive Clare Valley character.
With the commitment to crafting wines of exceptional quality, they have been honoured with over 500 accolades both domestically and internationally since their first vintage in 2000.
In addition to their branded portfolio, Kirrihill Wines is a fully vertically integrated business to meet demands at a wide variety of bottled and bulk wines price points, comprehensively service the market and delivering on quality assurance standards and traceability requirements.
They directly control wine quality by sourcing a wide variety of high-quality fruit from their own vineyards and trusted growers, along with producing the wine in their facility, under their control. This ensures reliability and consistency when delivering to their export markets.
Kirrihill is highly experienced in brokering fruit from a range of producers (Clare, Barossa, Adelaide Hills, Langhorne Creek, Riverland) and curating their own fruit, to provide other a continuity of supply of consistently high-quality wines and meet consumer demand and supply commitments.
Kirrihill holds well established networks to support their export trade including Wine Australia and has strong industry relationships, which include but are not limited to; Department for Trade & Investment (DTI), Department of Primary Industries & Regions (PIRSA), Austrade and South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA).

Winemaker Bio
Alexandra Wardlaw is Kirrihill’s highly passionate winemaker and hails from the Champagne region in France.
Joining the Kirrihill team in 2018 and with over 10 years winemaking experience, Alexandra honed her craft in both France and Australia but also further afield with vintages spent in Provence and the Napa Valley.
Having finished her Viticulture and Oenology degrees in 2016, she completed her Advanced Wine Assessment Course (AWAC) in 2021 to learn the fine art of wine show judging and partook in the 2022 Clare Valley, Barossa Valley and Adelaide wine shows, an exceptional addition to her role at Kirrihill.
Born in Champagne, Alexandra has the Clare Valley and her beloved Riesling at heart, crafting fruit from the sub-regions of the valley and capturing their terroir.
