Raidis Estate is family owned and operated by husband and wife team, Emma and Steven Raidis. We are a wine business growing premium wine grapes, producing high quality boutique wines and delivering world class tourism experiences in the renowned Coonawarra Wine Region of South Australia. We are located in the South-eastern area of South Australia near the Victorian border, approximately halfway between Melbourne and Adelaide. We utilise our family goats both in our branding and as part of our sustainable viticulture practice. Our grapes are hand-picked, selecting only the best quality fruit. The goats go into the vines to clean up any remaining fruit and stay in the vineyard over the winter to eat the grass, returning organic matter to the soil faster and lessening the risk of disease in the vineyard, thus, creating a healthy and sustainable vineyard. From a tourism perspective the goats are a real hit with the kids (and many adults)!
