Skillogalee Estate is situated in the heart of the world-renowned Clare Valley, one of South Australia’s oldest and most respected wine regions.
Since 1970 our family-owned winery has been dedicated to authentic, hand-crafted winemaking and for over fifty years we have produced celebrated wines with an authentic expression of land and terroir. Our grape vines are grown and cared for by hand, on the high-elevation hillside slopes of our single-estate vineyards in Sevenhill. Sustainably managed and surrounded by the pristine natural bushland of the Spring Gully Conservation Park — Skillogalee is a truly unique and special place.

I've been living and making wine in the Clare Valley district since 1998. It's safe to say that I love the region! After eight years of managing the historic Leasingham Wines in the Clare Valley, I took what I had learned and loved about winemaking and established my very own label, Wines by KT in 2006.
I love working with like minded passionate people who celebrate the special part of the world that they grow grapes and have been fortunate to call the Skillogalee Winery home for the last fifteen vintages. In June 2021 following the purchase of Skillogalee by Simon Clausen, Wines by KT was contracted to manage the viticultural and winemaking operations for the new Skillogalee Estate, whilst continuing to create Wines by KT under the same roof.
I’m a regular wineshow judge across Australia, have International experience in Italy and France, a graduate of the inaugural Len Evans Tutorial and have been nominated for Gourmet Traveller Winemaker of the Year in 2003 and 2017.
