Winery Overview
Trentham Estate Winery overlooking the peaceful Murray River near Mildura is distinctive among Australia’s notable wineries.
Outstanding wines produced in a stunning natural landscape, Trentham Estate reflects the Murphy family’s 100 years of grape growing tradition and experience.
60 hectares of vineyards on rich red loam over limestone soils are nurtured by water from the Murray River, creating high-quality wines at an affordable price.
Trentham Estate creates a considered and select range of wines with an emphasis on full fruit flavour and palatability. Varieties include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, as well as the newer Pinot Grigio, Vermentino, Maestri and Nebbiolo.
Nominated for Gourmet Traveller Wine magazine’s prestigious Winemaker of the Year Award and a winner of the International Wine and Spirit Competition for best Shiraz, Trentham Estate is renowned for balanced, food-friendly wines.
A consistency of quality and attention to detail has been rewarded with hundreds of wine show medals, trophies and business awards over 35 years.
But it’s a spirit of innovation and a passion for new styles and varieties that assures an exciting new dimension in every Trentham Estate range.
Trentham Estate Wines celebrate a love for life, the Australian lifestyle and the Murphy family’s Irish and Italian heritage.
