Wine Description
Located right beside the winery, the single vineyard Mort’s Block Riesling was planted 50 years ago in 1973.
An ideal ripening season was well welcomed after consecutive dry years prior. This saw the vines well balanced with canopy and an even spread of bunches. However, still recovering from the previous years, the bunches and berries were smaller than average. This concentration produced free run juice of exception flavour with bright natural acidity shining through.
