Wine Description
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is named after our eldest granddaughter Bronte and is matured gracefully in French oak hogsheads for 12 months before bottling. Our style is created to be enjoyed on any day ending in a “y”.
Inky dark red with crimson hues. A pungent core lift of blackcurrant, cracked black pepper, with dark chocolate and a splash of raspberry, is a truly impressive aromatic opening for this high country Eden Valley single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine continues in the same vein as a lean, elegant long distance runner of a palate, with
granuley drying ‘humming’ tannins, underneath a runway strip of concentrated cassis and green peppercorns. Definitely one that will hold on for the longer journey.
Vegan.

Winemaker's Bio
Joanne Irvine’s winemaking career began at an early age, following her father James Irvine “Master Merlot Maker” around the winery from age seven, undertaking the ritual tasting of ferments and wine blending.
In 2010 Jo established Wine Wise; a small batch processing facility in the Barossa to provide winemaking services to small, boutique producers. Jo believes that great wines are created by synergy and attention to detail in both the vineyard and the winery. She strives for excellence and brings passion to the quality of the wines she produces for Brockenchack.
