Wine Description
Taken from a single vineyard in the cooler area of Eden Valley, Barossa. Grown on an ancient podzolic soil with a low fertility. The wine has an intense ruby colour with a bouquet of red and dark berry fruits balanced with black pepper and spice. The shiraz is crafted to enhance the rich, dark red and blueberry fruits, with 40% new French oak for a minimum of 24 months resulting in an elegant, silky tannin finish. Extended aging in the bottle before release integrates the unique characters of this premium Shiraz over time. Vegan Friendly

Winemaker's Bio
Barossa born multi trophy winning winemaker Joanne Irvine is a highly sought after, small batch wine making specialist. Jo left home to pursue a career spanning 18 years as a nurse until she had what she describes as a “mid- life crisis” and became a winemaker.
Creating wines since 1993, including vintages in Sonoma and Napa USA, Jo could never have guessed that at age 7, while following her winemaking father around a winery, she would have started a successful wine consulting company in 2003 and created her own dynamic wine brand in 2014, Levrier by Jo Irvine.
