Every Wednesday night at Ava Milawa Cellar & Steak, for just $15 corkage, we’re giving that carefully stored bottle the moment it truly deserves. And trust us; we’ve already seen some incredible drops come through the door. From treasured Rutherglen Muscats to elegant King Valley Nebbiolos and pristine Alpine Valleys Chardonnays, our guests (majority locals) are bringing Australian wine to the table in the most wonderful way, and the stories that come with each bottle are just as good as what’s in the glass. Paired with premium cuts of steak and quality sauces championing our outstanding local producers, every Wednesday night is a true celebration of what Australia’s incredible wine regions have to offer, right here in our own backyard. But at the heart of it all? Community. This winter, we want to our guests leave the house, across the table from a friend, a neighbour, or a familiar face - connecting, laughing, and sharing something truly special together.
