ProWein in Düsseldorf, Germany, is one of the world’s largest and most important trade fairs. With more than 5,000 exhibitors from over 60 countries, it’s a must-attend event for wine professionals, particularly buyers and importers.

This is Wine Australia’s biggest-ever stand at ProWein, featuring even more wineries, wines and events than before. To give you a taste of what you’ll find on the stand, we’ve put together this collection of producers with iconic wines and innovative styles, which demonstrate Australia’s diverse and thrilling wine scene.

Reacquaint yourself with Australia’s signature styles, Chardonnay and Shiraz. Discover regional and stylistic differences, revisit iconic labels and try cool climate expressions. Don’t miss Tyrrell’s Hunter Valley Chardonnay, Burge Family Wine Estates’ Adelaide Hills Chardonnay and Howard Park Wines’ Margaret River Chardonnay. Highlighting the diversity of Aussie Shiraz, try Frankland Estate Syrah from Western Australia’s Frankland River, Jim Barry Shiraz from Clare Valley and Brokenwood Shiraz from Hunter Valley.

Alternative varieties and innovative styles are also on show at ProWein. Brown Brothers, based in the King Valley, are pouring Fiano, Zibbibo, Tempranillo and Moscato wines. Try Bunnamagoo’s Tempranillo and Gapsted Wines’ Pinot Gris, plus Patritti Wines’ Saperavi and no alcohol still and sparkling wines.

For the first time at ProWein, we’re highlighting wines from Sustainable Winegrowing Australia members. From encouraging biodiversity to reducing emissions, these producers are committed to conserving the planet for future generations. Certified members on our stand include Gemtree Wines, Bleasdale Vineyards, Angove Family Winemakers and Zilzie Wines.
