Esilio Wines is a family-owned and operated winery that produces single-vineyard, estate-grown wines with a strong focus on quality, value and authenticity. While we’re still a relatively young brand, we’ve had a very strong start — Our wines have received 90+ point scores from Halliday, Wine Orbit and Wine Pilot , and our Rosé and Sparkling wines are quickly becoming brand champions with our Rosé picking up the GOLD medal at the Australian Small Winemakers Show. Esilio Wines operates on 130 hectares and is a fully operating winery in the Mount Lofty Ranges. This elevated and exposed landscape offers a distinctive climate that produces wines of freshness, structure and purity, while still maintaining the generosity and character that South Australia is famous for. With nearly twenty years of winemaking experience spanning Australia and abroad, I bring a rare blend of technical mastery and creative vision to Esilio. My career foundations were established at the renowned Rolf Binder Wines in the Barossa Valley, where mentorship from industry icons Rolf Binder and Christa Deans helped shape my refined approach to modern winemaking. My philosophy is clear and compelling: minimal intervention, maximum expression. I believe the best wines are those that speak honestly of their origins, and lead the Esilio winemaking program with this guiding principle at its core. I ensure every decision—from the way the vines are nurtured to the final blend—is part of a cohesive, purposeful strategy to craft wines of purity, balance, and distinctive character.
