Winemaker's Bio
Our “Calm Before The Storm” Chardonnay was hand-picked from our Wilyabrup vineyard, whole-bunch pressed, and barrel fermented in 40% new French oak barrels with ten months ageing on the lees. Crisp apple and white pear flavours offer a prelude to the tempest of citrus complexity and hints of hazelnut in the long and textured finish.
