Angas & Bremer
Langhorne Creek , South Australia
Winery Overview
Angas & Bremer takes its name from the two rivers revered as the heart and soul of our region, where vines were first planted over 150 years ago. Despite our long and distinguished history, Langhorne Creek is often regarded as Australia’s best kept wine secret. As the largest wine producer in the region, we continue to support the community and develop long standing relationships with local growers who have made it possible for us to produce consistent, high-quality wine. NASSA Certified Organic and member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation – we continue to build our environmental credentials, developing a registered composting area for vintage waste (used on local vineyards) and establishing a native woodlot for the disposal of waste water from which the eucalyptus trees are used to feed the koalas at South Australia’s largest national park. The Angas & Bremer range is aimed at value seekers, not willing to compromise on quality. Angas & Bremer – the secret is out.

Winemaker Bio
Peter was introduced to the wine industry at a young age and quickly developed a passion. While studying for a degree in Oenology at the University of Adelaide,
Peter completed a vintage with Peter Lehmann Wines in the Barossa Valley. In 2001 Peter joined Langhorne Creek Winery as Assistant Winemaker. Peter continued to grow and challenge himself as the business has expanded and is now Angas & Bremer’s Senior Winemaker. “Angas & Bremer takes its name from the two rivers revered as the heart and soul of our region,” he explains. “The rivers are key ingredients to our wines – the natural floodplain allows the vineyards to start each growing season with a root zone full of water and is perfect for growing seriously good Shiraz.”
