Faisan Estate Wines

Started by Colin and Trish Walker 30 years ago on the slopes of Mt Canobolas near Orange. The winery is now run by their son Michael, who handcrafts small batches of age worthy Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, amongst others.

Michael grew up on the vineyard and winery at Faisan Estate, following university he followed an opportunity to play cricket in the UK and ended up staying for seven years. During a stint in the corporate world, Michael rediscovered his love for wine and it was time to pursue a career in wine and he has been making wine for the past 13 vintages.
