Gill Estate

Proudly a family owned and operated boutique winery, Gill Estate is situated in the Sunraysia region just 20 kilometers out of Red Cliffs, Northwest Victoria. The “Rivah” wine range is inspired by the mighty River Murray. It provides life to the area, weaving through picturesque landscapes and farmlands. Sunrises and sunsets are vibrant, flora and fauna are abundant, and locals live a relaxed lifestyle. The sunny and warm climate creates the perfect environment for growing quality fruit with distinctive earthy notes, making flavorsome wines. We focus on producing high quality Victorian wine using traditional winemaking methods.

Janel joined the Gill Estate team in September 2022 as our Winery Manager & Senior Winemaker. She has an impressive history having been in the Wine Industry for over 25 years. Janel’s working career started as a Microbiologist at this very site, she has enjoyed developing her skills with small premium wineries right through to large commercial wineries, including Barossa Valley Estate, Southcorp (Lindemans/Penfolds) and recently Pernod Ricard Winemakers.
