Winery Overview
Kingston Estate Wines is proud to be Australia’s 2nd largest family-owned winery with more than 3,000 hectares of family-owned vineyard holdings across 9 key Australian wine regions including the Riverland, Clare Valley, Coonawarra, Mount Benson, Wrattonbully and Victoria.
We make and mature all our wines at our state-of-the-art winery in the township of Kingston on Murray, located in the centre of the Riverland wine region of South Australia. The winery was built in 1985 on the corner of the family property next to our original vineyard, as well as the family home. Today, the winery can be considered two wineries in one - the original winery and the modern extension. The original winery is where we make our small batch super premium wines giving us the flexibility and control to develop parcels of wine into exciting styles that truly reflect the varieties and regions from which they come.
State-of-the-art tanks and winemaking equipment enhance our ability to produce commercial and larger volume bulk wines to the highest standard. Our efficient and advanced winemaking operations allow us to make wine styles at all quality levels to the specific needs of our diverse global customers.
As a winery with top tier BRC AA+ compliance and a storage capacity of 200 million litres, all of our wine is made and matured on site until despatched to market.
We are proud to offer our leading in-house product development team Brand Lab, specialising in creating private brands designed to appeal and connect with consumers in your market.

Winemaker Bio
After graduating from Roseworthy with a winemaking degree in 1985, Bill Moularadellis was intent on setting up his own winery, which he did on his parent's Riverland vineyard property that same year.
Bill's winemaking skills and business acumen ensured the winery enjoyed steady growth throughout the 1980s and then when Australian wine began to grow in popularity overseas, Kingston Estate was well placed to help satisfy this new demand, with Bill jumping on a plane numerous times a year to visit key export markets.
He continues to run the winery as Managing Director and oversees winemaking as Chief Winemaker.
