Established in 2010, Mr Smith grew as a pseudonym for each of the different winemakers and friends that contribute to the wines we make. Our collaborations with various artisans are mostly a side-hustle for them, and as such we can’t reveal their identity or brand affiliation. This anonymity allows us to be experimental, break new ground, be interesting and produce exceptionally good small batch wines that can be produced sustainably. And it allows us to reach the mid-price points, often far below the winemaker’s usual mark.
