Penny’s Hill Estate remains family owned and is nestled in the heart of McLaren Vale, South Australia, on the historical 'Ingleburne' homestead property established in 1855 by Thomas Goss. Since inception in 1988, the estate vineyards have been managed using sustainable practices and in 2022 the vineyards were certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia. The Randall Wine Group acquisition of Penny's Hill Estate in April 2022 has opened new and exciting winemaking opportunities for Chief Winemaker Alexia Roberts, with access to exclusive sites within the Group's premium vineyard holdings in McLaren Vale and South Australia. The Randall Wine Group owns 3,500 hectares of premium vineyards across eight premium grape-growing districts in South Australia - the largest private owner or Premium vineyards in Australia. At Penny’s Hill, an unwavering commitment to growing outstanding fruit ensures the finest red wines possible from our three McLaren Vale estate vineyards; Penny's Hill Vineyard, Goss Corner Vineyard and the Malpas Road Vineyard. With a strong focus on Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and some exciting new alternative varieties, the wines of Penny’s Hill have achieved significant Global Awards and recognition for over 30 years.
