risky business wines, is West Australian, family owned and operated, and brings together the vision and decades of experience of Rob Quenby (viticulturalist) and John Waldron (vintner).
Rob brings us the opportunity to pre-select the best parcels of fruit from great vineyards to use in the risky business range.
Winemaking philosophy is simple and relatively non–intrusive with the aim to produce – fine – and distinctive wines, reflecting the individual characteristics of the vineyard and variety.
The fruit for the Chardonnay, Luxe, Cabernet, Malbec and Red Blend is sourced from Western Australia, and mostly from Margaret River. We chose to go to the King Valley in Victoria’s high country, renowned for its strong Italian agricultural heritage, for the Italian wine styles Prosecco, Grigio and Sangiovese.
