Vinden Wines

Vinden Wines, formerly known as Vinden Estate, was founded in 1990 and is now under the guidance of second-generation winemaker and viticulturist Angus Vinden. All of our wines are handcrafted at our winery on Vinden Estate, with minimal intervention on-site, from hand-picked grapes. Our two vineyards, Vinden and Somerset are both situated in Pokolbin, NSW and currently crush ~100 tonnes of our own fruit each year. Since taking over in 2015, Angus has maintained the original label, Vinden Wines, which possesses a traditional Hunter style as well as producing his offshoot label allowing a more experimental approach The Vinden Headcase - balancing tradition with innovation.

Angus Vinden is a second generation winemaker and viticulturist. At the age of 32, he's won numerous awards as both winemaker and vigneron and endeavours to leave both vineyards in a better condition than when he started managing both properties.
