Winery Overview
Established in 1974, Wild Duck Creek Estate is a family owned and operated winery. The winery is situated 7 kilometres south-west of the Heathcote township, in the Heathcote wine region. Two generations of vignerons, David and Liam Anderson, are intimately involved in the winery's operations, with Liam now taking over as Head Winemaker and General Manager.
Our first vineyard was planted in 1974, and completed in 1981. Over the last 35 years we have planted vineyards across the region, with full bodied cellar-worthy Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon our primary style. The other varieties we work with are Malbec, Grenache, Mataro, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Riesling.
