Wine Description
The Winemaker's Series is a range of small batch wines expertly crafted in our micro winery and hand selected by our winemakers. From the heathcote region the wine is a vibrant colour purple with aromas of dark fruits, especially blackberry with hints of spice and white pepper. The spice follows through to the palate creating an elegant balance to the powerful dark fruit flavours. The tannins are fine grained and well integrated. This wine will gain complexity with age - cellar for 4-6 years from vintage.

Winemaker's Bio
A former pharmacist, Geoff saw an opportunity to transfer his skills to the wine industry and began studying winemaking at the University of Adelaide in 2002.
Geoff joined the Brown Family Wine Group as Assistant Winemaker in 2005.
In October 2007, Geoff was promoted to the position of Winemaker and is now responsible for a portfolio of red, white, sparkling and fortified wines at a range of price points including the Innocent Bystander brand. He is particularly interested in the development of new varieties and wine styles, something for which the Brown Family Wine Group is rightly famous.
