Wine Description
Barossa Valley cabernet sauvignon, showing deep blueberry and a little violet lift on the nose, balanced out by a little earthy character and oak structure. Plush and generous across the palate with a gentle acid providing poise and length, this wine is powerful and full bodied. With 96 points from Decanter, this wine speaks to the absolute care in the vineyard and winery to create wines which will both evolve over decades, and show a vibrant luxury in their youth.
Winemaker's Bio
With nearly four decades of winemaking around South Australia and the globe, David Norman is highly experienced, but the Barossa has always been his heartland. Having worked with some of the greats of wine, David has brought that education to the Eden Valley, and here to Gatt Wines. His expertise and many years of training and tasting has served to bring Gatt Wines to the peak of the region, creating wines which are the purest expression of terroir, designed to age elegantly and showcase the beauty of the Barossa and Eden Valleys.
