Wine Description
We live in a society filled with immediate gratification. Planting and growing a grape vine, picking the fruit and turning it into wine all takes time, patience, skill and a little bit of insanity. Fruition refers to a state of being complete or fully realised. It's a happy word by default meaning 'to enjoy'. Our big dreams and hard work come full circle in this fruit forward belnd of Grenache and Mataro. Bottled for you ''to enjoy' now, no need to wait!
The single vineyard and estate grown blend is bright ruby garnet in colour with hints of wild strawberries and baking spices on the nose. Ripe plums, raspberries and blueberries fill the mouth with bright and refreshing fruit flavours and hints of spice and crunchy tannins.
Grenache and Mataro were picked in early March 2023, crushed and held in the press for 9 days to extract colour and flavour before pressing and fermentation. 10% of the belnd was placed in old French oak barrels for 6 months before bottling in February 2024
