Wine Description
Fruit is sourced from Jeff McMurtrie, John Kalleske, Darren Arney and the Lloyd brothers – all at least 2nd generation growers in South Australia's finest areas. The wine is co-fermented and shows excellent depth of colour, the monkey king jumps out of the glass with apricot peel and spice notes from the Viognier. Plum from the Shiraz and subtle oak notes. Shiraz and Viognier are Co-fermented to bring this classic Rhone blend together. Soft and lucious on the palate with well balance tannins. Pair this monkey with pizza, steak or on its own - its the allrounder!

Winemaker's Bio
Alex is from a family of grape growers where the cool climate of his home region – up in the Strathbogie Ranges – was perfect for their premium Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. With grape growing and winemaking firmly in his mind, he couldn’t help but take on a degree in winemaking from Charles Sturt University (BAppSc).
Alex has gained experience around the world in Napa Valley, Jura and across Australia in the Hunter Valley, Margaret River, Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills.
