The Vine Vale Road wines are made from the Shiraz grown in red/brown earth over red clay giving the wine opulence and style to carry the layered palate weight typical of premium Barossa Shiraz. Detailed spur pruning, lift / catch wires, non till, supplementary food and water. Harvested, destemmed, cultured yeast, 7 days on skins, twice daily pump overs and plunge, slotted caged bag pressed. 60% French oak, balance seasoned provides a superior backbone to big Barossan fruit weight styles. All barrels are tasted for style and blended for bottling.
