Diana Mary, affectionately known as 'Disey, is the Matriarch of Chalk Hill. This wine is a testament to her as a wonderful wife, mother and as a friend to so many. Just like Disey, this Rosé exudes remarkable finesse and refinement. The wine presents a bouquet of fragrant summer berries, including strawberries and raspberries, which are harmoniously complemented by subtle floral notes of rose petals and confectionary. On the palate, the wine demonstrates exceptional balance with an elegant mouthfeel and a seamless texture, courtesy of the well-integrated acidity that provides a refreshing structure while maintaining the wine's smooth and polished character.

Renae Hirsch produces wines which display vibrancy and purity of fruit, are well balanced and reflect the heritage of the vines and the regions they come from. We undertake a minimalist approach in the winery, with minimal sulphites used. Oak remains in the background at all times and is there to support the wine and ensure the varietal characters and vineyard characters shine through.
