Winery Overview
Howard Park is a family-owned West Australian winery producing a range of handcrafted fine wines from the state’s premier grape-growing regions: Margaret River, Pemberton, and the Great Southern. Since its inception in 1986, Howard Park has adhered to a philosophy of crafting wines with great subtlety, character, balance, and elegance, while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Howard Park was one of the first wineries in the region to embrace multi-regional fruit sourcing, a decision that has shaped its legacy. Today, the winery operates across three renowned regions: Margaret River, Pemberton, and the Great Southern, with five meticulously developed vineyards—Leston and Allingham in Margaret River, Forest View in Pemberton, and Mount Barrow and Abercrombie in the Great Southern. Each site has a unique focus and personality, but all are specifically chosen and nurtured to maximise the quality of the grape varieties planted there.
These vineyards form the foundation of Howard Park’s award-winning portfolio. Signature wines like the flagship Abercrombie Cabernet Sauvignon and Allingham Chardonnay are celebrated both locally and internationally, reflecting the winery’s dedication to quality, elegance, and provenance. Howard Park remains a pioneering force in West Australian winemaking.
Under the stewardship of the second generation, Howard Park is guided by the philosophy of continual improvement, excellence, and innovation. Natalie Burch, General Manager and Director, and Richard Burch, Sales and Marketing Director, have taken the helm alongside second-generation winemaker Nic Bowen, who brings innovation and expertise as Chief Winemaker. Together, they uphold the Burch family’s commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.
