Winery Overview
From humble beginnings, the Follett family's Lake Breeze wines have
become some of Australia's most awarded.
The Follett family have been growing grapes in Langhorne Creek for over 130 years and winemakers since 1987. They have rapidly built an enviable reputation for consistently producing outstanding wines. Rated by James Halliday as a 5 red star winery, Lake Breeze has also racked up 60 trophies and over 180 gold medals.
The Follett's are proud of their heritage and the consistency of their wines. Winemaker, Greg Follett selects only the best 30-40% of fruit from the old vines on the property, to create wines with amazing depth of flavour. These wines include the highly acclaimed 'Bernoota' [Shiraz/Cabernet], Cabernet Sauvignon, Arthur's Reserve and Winemaker's Selection Shiraz labels.
Lake Breeze has been awarded the Halliday Wine Companion 2022 Best Value Winery of the Year.

Winemaker Bio
Greg is the fourth generation of the Follett family to work on the family property at Langhorne Creek. Since graduating from Roseworthy Agricultural College in 1990, Greg has this year completed 33 vintages including stints in California and southern France.
Greg’s success all began with his first two wines winning 3 trophies and 12 gold medals. Amongst the 60 trophies and over 180 gold medals Lake Breeze has accumulated, his most notable awards include winning the Max Schubert Trophy, Best Red Wine of the Adelaide Wine Show, on two occasions.
Greg believes his greatest assets are the old vines on the property and the concentrated fruit they produce. This enables him to take a minimalist approach and allows the fruit to speak for itself. He takes a hands on approach, responsible for all facets, from fruit selection through to sales and marketing.
