Longview is a stunning family owned Australian vineyard located just outside the historic township of Macclesfield in the Adelaide Hills. Set on undulating slopes reminiscent of old-world estates but unmistakably Australian, it has quickly established itself as one of the most awarded vineyards since its 2001 inaugural vintage.Family owned and operated together with a small but specialised team of passionate vineyard, events, administration and catering professionals.
Passionate about their heritage, the Saturno family has infused Longview with an Italian accent. Tipping their hat to the family’s matriarch, Tarquinia “Queenie” Saturno, they produce meticulous examples of traditional Northern Italian wines and focus their food around all regions of their spiritual homeland. Their unique site produces traditional Australian varietals such as Shiraz, Cabernet, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Longview also specializes in Emerging varietals such as Gruner Veltliner, Barbera, Pinot Grigio and has the some of the oldest and most diverse clonal plantings of Nebbiolo in Australia.
