Wine Description
The K1 Sauvignon Blanc vines are the oldest in the Adelaide Hills and are planted in a sandy loam area of the K1 by Geoff Hardy vineyard, a consistent hero of our vineyard.
The vines are spur pruned to a low bud number to increase fruit quality.
The palate is super refreshing, crisp and clean, with a trace of florals accompanying citrus and exotic tropical fruits leading to a dry, lingering finish.
Winemaker's Bio
Geoff Hardy is a 5th generation member of the Hardy wine dynasty and the owner and chief viticulturist of K1 wines in the Adelaide Hills.
Shane Harris is the Chief Winemaker and the only 3 time winner of Winestate Magazines Australian Winemaker of the Year award..
