Peter Weinberg is a decorated winemaker based in Coonawarra, South Australia, crafting wines for several smaller producers. Originally from Newcastle, he began his career in the Hunter Valley at Mount Pleasant before moving to Coonawarra in 1999. Known for his hands-on approach and passion for the outdoors, Peter guided Brand’s Laira to award-winning success, especially with Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. He now brings his expertise and creativity to the Koonara Wines range, continuing his legacy of excellence in winemaking.
