An earthy wine with mushroom aromas and hints of sour cherry which come through on the palate. This is a full-bodied Pinot Noir that has good grip and will further develop with age.
Since taking over Lambert Vineyards in 2016, our winemaker, Jeremy Wilson, has put a modern twist on the wines that come from our Canberra District estate and from around NSW. Jeremy champions a minimal winemaking approach that is driven by the vineyard, seasons and what the fruit is doing. He has an exceptional understanding of what the seasons can and do impact what we grow. Over the last 6 years, he’s developed an instinctual knowledge of the optimal harvest time so he can deliver wines with great body, clean acidity and balanced tannins.
