Wine Description
An elegant and balanced Shiraz. The fruit shows good concentration, sweet red fruits, and savoury spice. The oak adds layers of chocolate and mocha with soft round tannins that linger with good persistence.
Winemaker's Bio
Rory Parks, Chief Winemaker always had an interest in Agriculture. After working in the vineyard during the summer holidays, he decided to pursue Viticulture and Oenology. The science of winemaking got him hooked, loving the way it combined agriculture with science and art.
Rory joined Byron & Harold with a wealth of industry experience, including a prior role with one of Western Australia's most well known producers, within which he was responsible for a broad range of wines on a commercial scale of over 500,000 cases per annum.
Rory's goals including furthering his studies and knowledge, to keep growing as a winemaker, and to win the Jimmy Watson trophy!
