91 Points, Qwine. "Lots of yum factor from Hesketh Wines highlighting the Lobethal sub-region of the Adelaide Hills. Perched 420 metres above, this Chardonnay was barrel fermented in second-fill French oak and aged for 8 months prior to release. A smart wine.
Match sticks and struck match aromas straight up as a soft creaminess wrap around the mouth. White fleshed stonefruit drive through with ruby grapefruit on its tail. A consistent flow of lemon juice taps away adding further interest. Very nicely done.
