The grapes were sourced from Becker Vineyard – Mt Charles block in
the Koonunga sub-region of the Barossa Valley. Four generations of the
Becker Family owned the small vineyard until it was recently purchased by
the Hoffmann family. The exact age of the vines in this block has been lost
but understood to be between 70 and 80 years old. A total of 2,000 bottles is produced, each individually numbered.
