Wine Description
The colour of the 2018 Jack Harrison Shiraz is the first indication of something special... inky black depths with bright purple edges.
The nose is a concentrated combination of darker cherry fruit, French oak spice and the characteristic cassis/star anise top notes.
The palate is a massive mouthful of chewy black juicy fruit, wrapped around a weighty oak core, with an extended length that promises to develop into something of significant power and elegance.
Impressive!

Winemaker's Bio
Joanne Irvine’s winemaking career began at an early age, following her father James Irvine “Master Merlot Maker” around the winery from age seven, undertaking the ritual tasting of ferments and wine blending.
In 2010 Jo established Wine Wise; a small batch processing facility in the Barossa to provide winemaking services to small, boutique producers. Jo believes that great wines are created by synergy and attention to detail in both the vineyard and the winery. She strives for excellence and brings passion to the quality of the wines she produces for Brockenchack.
